Wildfire in Kareas near Athens
A wildfire that broke out on Friday afternoon at the Athens suburb of Kareas is in progress.
Due to the strong winds blowing in the area the blaze is now very close to the inhabited area.
Thirty firefighters with ten fire engines assisted by a water-dropping helicopter are currently battling the blaze.
