Retail sales turnover index up 2.5 pct in May
Greek retail sales turnover index grew 2.5 pct in May compared with the same month last year, but fell 1.5 pct compared with April 2015, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Friday.
The statistics service, in a report, said that the retail sales volume grew 4.2 pct in May, compared with the same month last year, but grew 0.3 pct from April 2015.
The seasonally-adjusted turnover index grew 2.2 pct in May, from the same month in 2014, but grew 1.8 pct from April 2015, while the seasonally-adjusted volume index grew 3.9 pct in May, from May 2014, but grew 1.8 pct from April 2015.
