Two quakes jolted Crete
Two light quakes measuring 4.6 and 4.2 on the Richter scale were recorded early Thursday in the sea region south of the city of Ierapetra, Crete island.

According to Geodynamics Institute of Athens' National Observatory, the first tremor was recorded at 3.25 and the second at 3.47. The quake's epicentre was located 440 km south-southwest of Athens in the sea region 77 km south of Ierapetra.

No damages have been reported.
