Stavros Niarchos Foundation donates 750,000 euros for refugee crisis
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation's board on Tuesday approved a 750,000-euro donation to support actions in the northern Aegean, Dodecanese islands and northern Greece for dealing with the refugee crisis. The donation will be given to Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) and the International Rescue Committee, which provide free services to refugees.
These include medical care and advice, cleaning services, distribution of essential goods and improvement of water supply and sanitation systems, in collaboration with local authorities.
