Building materials' prices down 2.4 pct in Oct.

Building materials' prices fell 2.4 pct in October reflecting a decline in international oil prices, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Friday.
The statistics service, in a report, said that diesel oil prices fell 16.4 pct in October, pipes fell 6.0 pct, window prices fell 5.7 pct, tiles fell 3.1 pct, interior door prices eased 2.9 pct, cement prices fell 2.7 pct, elevators fell 2.6 pct, garage doors eased 2.1 pct and closets fell 2.0 pct. On the other hand, price increases were recorded in bricks (2.6 pct), steel pipes (1.1 pct) and electricity (0.7 pct).
The new home building materials' composite index fell 2.4 pct in October from October 2014. The index was down 0.4 pct in October from September 2015.
